DAKON BRADLEY

Dakon Bradley, son of owner Ronnie Bradley, served as the President of Operations for several years prior to his passing in August of 2016.  Dakon was the heart and sole of Bertsch.  Some would say that his heart was so big that it just wore out too soon.

Dakon’s legacy was his dedication, loyalty and his sense of humor.  No matter what Dakon set out to do, whether it was Coach his girls’ sports teams, play softball, bowl with friend, attend OSU Beaver games or set up moving for his customers, he did it with enthusiasm and dedicated himself fully to it.

Dakon’s sense of humor was like no other.  His infectious laughter could be heard from yards away.  He always found ways to find the bright side of things and would use his humor to keep things on track.   Sometimes that sense of humor would catch you off guard but you always knew when there was a prank done, Dakon would be the one to blame.

Dakon left behind a wife, two beautiful daughters, both parents and 3 sisters and countless friends.  His memorial was attended by over 1500 family, friends and business associates.  That is a testament of how loved he was and how much he is missed.  Many of the testimonials at his memorial spoke of his loyalty as a husband, father, son, friend and to his responsibilities at Bertsch.

The team at Bertsch respected Dakon and would do whatever he asked of them, not only because it needed done, but because he set the standard for hard work and doing what it takes to make Bertsch customers happy.  That standard remains in place to this day in his memory.

Gone too soon, but never forgotten.
